10-8 Consulting is proud to announce the latest variant of our 2D target. The latest version is in full color, upgraded white paper stock, and has additional option targets.
The 10-8 Consulting/EAG Paper Target was born from a desire to have a versatile, yet realistic 2 dimensional target that could be used for tactical or technical training. Designed in conjunction with EAG and Crye Precision, the target is based on an IPSC silhouette and a modified IDPA vital scoring area. The vital areas include an 8" circle center of mass and a triangular shape for the ocular cavity. A 2" area runs from the ocular cavity to center of mass to designate an optional scoring zone for the spinal cord. A grid pattern consisting of 1/4" squares along with a center aiming dot is incorporated into the target for use in zeroing. The grid pattern is faint enough to disappear to the shooter at approximately 7 yards. Geometric shapes were added outside of the main scoring area in order maximize the utility of the target for technical drills.

10-8 Consulting is proud to present the 10-8 Performance Rear Sight. Designed by Hilton Yam, this sight incorporates a combination of unique features not found in any other production sight. While the unique appearance is what typically captures people's attention, this is truly an example of form meeting function. The rear blade of the sight has a flat angular surface which provides the user additional options of slide manipulations over sights designs that have a ramped front. The sight blade is thick enough to allow setting tritium vials in lengthwise (ie. as dots) if one so chooses. It is contoured and dehorned for comfortable handling and carry.
Precision CNC machined from heat treated 4140 bar stock, this rear sight is designed to withstand the rigors of hard duty use. Unlike rear sights machined from soft, free machining alloys, the hardened bar stock construction allows this sight to better resist the nicking and denting that is typical with the wear and tear of daily carry. It features a .125" x .125" U notch for fast alignment with tritium dot or gold bead front sights. The rear face is serrated at 40 lpi to reduce glare in varied lighting conditions. The sight features a plain black blade, finished in matte black manganese phosphate.
The 10-8 Performance Rear Sight is available for 1911s with Novak LoMount® dovetail cut. The sight will fit into factory 1911s with Novak® sights installed. The sight is a direct retrofit in the dovetail and will match the height of the existing rear sight. If your slide is not cut for a Novak dovetail, it will require machining for installation.

The 10-8 Performance 1911 trigger was co-designed by Hilton Yam and Larry Vickers for the rigors of duty use. Derived from the proven Videki design, the trigger features a long solid aluminum shoe, a full width stainless steel bow, and a fixed stainless steel overtravel stop permanently mounted from the rear of the shoe. This trigger eliminates all issues associated with loose overtravel screws -- no staking, Loctite, or other end user monitoring is necessary. Once the overtravel is set, it’s good to go for the life of the trigger. The shoe and bow are not lightened or skeletonized, and retain their full structural integrity for maximum durability and service life. Oversized shoe and overtravel stop require gunsmith fitting.
The 10-8 Performance Trigger is now available in a Flat Trigger design. This unique shape allows the shooter to put straight, backward pressure on the trigger regardless of finger placement on the trigger, encouraging proper trigger control. Overall trigger length is the same as the long trigger, though the geometry of the trigger allows for more room inside the trigger guard.
